Cold porcelain

Another idea of the precious

Light, lightness & delicacy

Because she constantly questions the sense of the precious and she likes to invent, Alizée Méhats has refined her art on a singular and unprecedented material in jewelry: cold porcelain.

Less known than Limoges porcelain, cold porcelain has great aesthetic and functional qualities.

Bright & delicate

Cold porcelain absorbs and reflects the material in a very particular way. The "wow" effect comes from a bright matt white, neither too white nor too cream which turns out to be very elegant.

Art craftsmanship

The creativity, the dexterity and the know-how of the ways is exercised in the porcelain molding stage. The molding of cold porcelain is entirely handmade at Maison Massillon, requiring speed and dexterity.

Indeed, cold porcelain can only be molded between the fingers of our craftsmen if the dough is damp. This quickly dries in contact with air, requiring any cooking time, which requires speed of execution and unique touch to infinite the flagship patterns of the house.

100% natural and made in France

Composed of natural ingredients, the porcelain dough used by Maison Massillon is made in the Tours region.

Solid & light

Once dry it becomes shock resistant while remaining extremely lightly unlike classic porcelain. Once for the creations of Maison Massillon are as light as a flower.

A gold -plated wire frame

The creativity and know-how of the house is expressed by its reasons but also by its frames. Completely thoughts and drawn by Alizée Méhats in the sketch stage, the creations curves only come to life once the frame will wear the porcelain patterns made.

The frames are entirely woven by hand and draws organic curves straight out of the creator's imagination in order to best marry the female silhouette.

Made of gold plated thread, these are a demonstration of elegance and know-how alone.
